The European Union and the external borders – between debordering and rebordering
1 March 2019 - 15 March 2019
The course addressed to the university students, aiming at proposing new approaches in defining EUropean borders. Classical theories of neo-functionalism, intergovernmentalism or social constructivism do not make it possible to precisely determine the shape and location of the (future) EUrope’s edges. The concepts of geopolitical models and geostrategies of the European Union eliminate this weakness; however, due to their static character they require modification. This will be debated with students.
